Adaptation

The axolotl is an underwater salamander that lives only in Mexico. Axolotls have the strange ability to regenerate damaged or detached body parts. This ability to replace body parts prevents any injury from affecting its mobility in its underwater environment, allowing the axolotl to continue to move and catch its food. This adaptation is beneficial to the axolotl's survival and helps it live to reproduce.
