Adaptation

The Marcgravia Evenia is a species of flowering vine in the Marcgraviaceae family that has adapted to form cup shaped leaves to attract a bat's echolocation  These plants use bats for pollination. A study showed that bats found the plants 50% faster than usual. The leaf sounds the same to a bat at all angles so that it can be found when passing by. These adaptations allow more spreading of the plants pollin which causes more reproduction.
