Adaptation

The Leafy Sea Dragon is a sea horse that demonstrates an adaptation that allows it to blend in or camouflage with its surroundings.  The color, texture, and shape of its appendages resemble the plant structures in its normal environment.  By blending in with its environment it is less likely to be eaten and will survive to reproduce.  Image and info: www.divegallery.com
